Managing Partner: Chris Taylor

Chris is a mathematician and AI software developer with experience in pharmaceutical drug discovery, biotechnology, and algorithmic trading.  He studied Mathematics at Warwick and Liverpool Universities, gaining a PhD in Dynamical Systems Theory in 1999. At Adaptive Biosystems in London, Chris worked on the application of Neural Networks to the monitoring and control of bioprocess reactors. He then moved to Lilly Systems Biology in Singapore, developing computational models of cancer microbiology and applying AI/ML techniques to high-dimensional genomic data. He worked at AstraZeneca in the UK on similar projects in cancer drug discovery, in particular leading a two year computational and experimental project on the prediction of combination drug effects in cancer cells.  In 2011 Chris moved to Hong Kong as a statistical modeller at Mathematical Solutions Ltd. and in 2016 joined Prediction Machines where he developed software for predictive pricing and trading models.
